I received my copy of the book on Saturday and I finished it Sunday morning.  I could not put it down,  It was well written.  This is a book that all women can relate to.  I definitely identify with Mia being a witness to domestic violence at a young age.  This book just confirms that there is no such thing as a "normal family" or "normal life".  We all have some type of dysfunction somewhere.  That's why I applaud CJ Wallace for having the courage to let us into her world. Good luck with your book and website. I tried signing up to leave a comment but had difficulty and then I was booted off the internet. So, I'll leave my comment here. I am happy that you wrote this book. I even though male, have been emotionally abused by my x. I didn't even realize it until I went to counseling and my counselor opened my eyes to it, or took off my sunglasses! There are so many women and men out there. I believe men are more likely not to tell others though. As we are supposed to be the "strong" ones for lack of a better word.

Jacqueline Baptiste I am very excited about reading this book and to see Cheryle at her book signing. While I have been fortunate enough not to be a victim of abuse, verbal or physical, I know women who have been. Abuse is an ugly demon that can be cured if we all stand together and give the necessary support to those in need...........
